parky Being drowned out by 'You are embarrassing' ought to send a fairly strong message.

PieEater
Stuka
Forbury Lion Sound expensive, how about a shorter "Sack the PA Announcer"

Much more effective. Have you considered a career in marketing?

Will get on to it.

How about PA FO, cryptic enough for the club to wonder what it's about.

Internet Says It Sucks or maybe It's Really Annoying, in both cases it might be necessary to shorten these somewhat to 3 or 4 letters to fit on the banners.

Lacoste

The guy has to go, it honestly sounds like a childs pantomime before the game. He is completely out of touch with the match going public.

How about a letter to the club with a link to this thread on it.

My mate is a QPR fan and he messaged me straight away when the PA guy piped up.

I mean seriously, the stadium was half empty, the fans were pissed off with the goings on and he wanted us to shake the Mad Stad to it's foundations

Maybe we should respond in kind shouting "Oh no it isn't" when he next makes a reference to the "legendary atmosphere".

He's quickly becoming one of my favourite features of home games. It's just so bad, you have to laugh.

Is this guy trying to be a parody of himself? Reading the Blackburn team out with just initial and surname "...H. Akpan... D. Guthrie..."

Do I recall correctly that he announced that there had been a half time sub, but not who it was, because he was too busy talking about the quality support, back the boys and roar for the famous royals or something?

Your memory is correct. And he tried to get everyone to do a URZ about a minute after we'd just done it.
Clueless. He is to football announcing what Mark Reilly was to football playing.

When he did the back the boys and make some noise... I thought he had got the message as there was a pause and until that bit it wasn't too bad - well, by that I mean I didn't want to stick pins in my ears.

Then he did the "Can you hear the royals fans... COOOMmmEEEMEMEMEMEEE ooNNNNnNNNNnnN YOUUUUUUUUU ARSSEEEEEEERRSSSSSSS" or whatever in god's name he chose to squeal down the microphone.

He did announce who it was but it sounded like the sound system went wrong as I could only just hear who he said it was

For all these comments, for all his cringeyness I think he is bloody brilliant.

He is our embarrassment, let's embrace him.

Even the US PA folks who he clearly models himself on would disown the idiot that we now have in charge of the microphone.
