Half hour on the Piccadily followed by a ten minute walk. 8)

Easy train journey to this one:

Martins Heron -> Virginia Water -> Brentford

45 minute journey, £11 return.

What tube station is a 10 minute walk from the ground? Genuinely interested. We like the Bell and Crown at Kew Bridge but I'd like to go back via Paddington for this game rather than the Waterloo train.

IN (standing) for a fourth visit to Brentford and a third in a row - was a definite highlight last season.

I think about 15 minute walk to South Ealing. Not sure if it's any quicker back to Reading than the Waterloo train.

Although, it could be worth trying Ealing Broadway back to Reading..

I was being a shade optimistic tbh. Having had a look is more like 20/25 minutes to Northfields, still preferable to Brentford train and on to Victoria as I'm heading back to Kings Cross

IN x 2,

Prefer that this is an evening game, can pop down quickly on the train after work.

IN for this. Straight from work in Uxbridge.

Can offer lifts home to Earley if anyone's interested as will have empty car.

Yeah South Ealing via Earl's Court looks a good shout actually. Doesn't seem too bad a walk with the Ealing Park Tavern looking good.

I was hoping you were going to tell me about some shortcut I didn't know about  . The Brentford train would be OK for me but one of my mates needs to get back to Slough so Paddington is preferable and not much time difference by the looks of it.
