Loafer Wonder if they will choose to put down Club 1871 when we get relegated, and finally just accept its been a failure? Hasn't seemed to have worked well this season at all.

Feedback from away fans says otherwise. It's been a huge success and will continue to be.

C1871 allocation increased for Wigan. If you can't get in, get in Y25/26 and increase the noise. We need that place rocking for this one.

Good effort C1871, was good noise almost throughout. Pretty positive and a pleasure to rejoin you.

Have to think it may be curtains for C1971 when we go down next season

Will there be much enthusiasm at Accrington at home with a 7k crowd?

Are we going down two divisions, then?

Why would I care if you cared?
It’s easy to see on any football website…even the BBC is up to date.

Just seen the clips on Facebook of 1871 and Wigan fans and it doesn’t look good. TBF it’s no different to what I used to do at Elm Park back in the day. Difference was no one had cameras then.

Certainly less chance of getting away with stupidity these days.

That, and coppers not stood at the back of the South Bank, cuffing young gobshites (like me once upon a long time ago) on the back of the head with their guantlets just for getting a bit chopsie.

Attendances will hold up for a few seasons i would think, plus there is a better chance of us playing a more attractive brand of football than what's been served up this season and add to that the fact that we may see more home grown players coming through the academy and a better chance of winning a few more games.

If in two seasons time we have made no further progress and Dai is still spunking stupid money on overpaid superstars who aren't performing then yes, attendances will plumet.

As for next season i would expect the same as this season especially as there are a few tasty derbies thrown in which we haven't had for a while, plus the same goes for some of the away fans from other clubs, we will be seen as a big fish in this new pond and a few of these clubs would never have played at the MADSTAD before!!
