Brisbane Road used to be the ground that was closest in looks / facilities to Elm Park. Two open ends, grandstand down one side, covered terracing opposite. Now only the old grandstand is left - everything else rebuilt incl blocks of flat over the corner flags.

Yep, use to mistake to two grounds from certain angles, it was only the distinctive Leyton Orient gable on their old grandstand that used to make it clear which was which in some old photos, think it's only been in the last 20 years it's been altered (both ends now have covers and one has gone all Palace like with apartment blocks (in this case) pressed right up against it (that was the end where the away fans used to get put (no clue whether that's still the case or not)).

£29 is a bit steep for League One, but it's a small ground; I imagine they'll be at capacity for most games at this level.

There's a Stanley Baker film from 1967 The Robbery, which uses Brisbane Road for a key scene (league game vs Swindon, for those of you keeping track). It's uncannily similar to Elm Park.

Looking forward to this one, tbh
