Stranded Looks like this will be another (or close to) sell-out - only about 300 tickets left.

Poor mans Clyde

Hopefully should sell out.

There's a handful of seats left in Block 6 but still 100+ in the other stand.

The stand behind the goal has now completely sold out; around 100 remaining along the side. We'll no doubt sell this one out.

This has now sold out (1,520 tickets) - impressive for a Friday night.

People still in holibobs and one of the closest grounds to us. I’m not surprised this one has sold out. I am how we surprised at the Peterborough numbers thought we would have sold more. I guess with been there fairly recently so it’s not a new ground to a lot of people and perhaps people don’t fancy watching us get a hiding…

I don't think trains run on Boxing Day, which will reduce numbers; people's options are drive or take the coach. Those who want to have a drink before/after the game wouldn't be able to do so when driving (unless you're a passenger travelling with someone not drinking) nor on the coach.

If you don't have any luck, away fans are a common sight and generally ok in the Colin Farmer stand (assuming you don't behave like a knobhead, of course).. Book Block 6 and you'll be next to Reading fans

If anyone requires any local knowledge (travel/parking/pubs/glorious Regency architecture) let us know.

It's barely over an hour away so we should sell out every year. It's nearer than Bristol City are and we usually took 2k there

My comment was in response to the point regarding Peterborough.

That said, I hadn’t realised how close Cheltenham was - I mentally had it further away. For any game an hour up the road we should be selling 1,500+ regardless of when the game gets played.

I think lots of fans underestimate journeys tbh.

Who'd have thought a trip to Cheltenham would be so popular? Normally you see plenty of spares floating around on twitter but nothing for this game and plenty of people still looking.

It’s just people last minute thinking they want to do something as this period between Christmas and new year is sort of a dead rubber. The tickets went on general sale so it couldn’t have been that popular.

Have to say Jerry the architecture of central Cheltenham was quite beautiful, especially in the end of year wintery night, with celebratory Christmas lighting all aglow.

Charming.

Some decent boozers as well, although the prices were about 50p too dear.
