DJ Mega Party

by Armadillo Roadkill » 09 Mar 2024 18:50

Anyone know where he's gone?

I assumed it was an unpaid job (an impression I got from when the guy got sacked for his comments before a game against Millwall when McGhee was in charge there).

At first he seemed a bit over the top (hence his nick-name). But now I miss him.

Believe we received an offer we couldn’t refuse from Crowthorne Aztecs.

The bloke who does a long cringy pre-amble before he finally gets around to shouting "back the boys and make some noise."

He's been (thankfully) missing for the last two games.

Ahh that’s why we stated the last two home games shite. He’s not there pumping everyone up. You may have found the answer.

He's still not got over introducing our Ruben as Neves and not Selles during the Purple Turtle pre-season Amazons ensemble.

He was sorely missed Saturday though.

It's no surprise we've lost the last two home games then.
Maybe he's heading the sale negotiations for Dai?

Absolutely baffling that he was ever employed. Shocking goon.

Just don't say it to his face. He's a karate black belt, or something like that.

He got in the local paper in his teens, as someone tried to mug him, and he beat the crap out of them.

He learned his 'craft' as the DJ at Bracknell ice rink, but the same style didn't really work here, although he did seem to tone it down to some degree after a while.

I'm not scared of Mega Party. He can back the boys and I'll just destroy!

Are we going to have a do a DJ MegaParty memories thread?

Playing Nellie the Elephant whilst that pitch invader ('Pudding') did front flips against Bradford in the FA Cup springs straight to mind.

He was back for the game on Friday, I noticed.

I thought it sounded like him, but I hadn't noticed he wasn't doing the PA for any game prior though. That said the PA system can be completely inaudible in the East Stand at times and I'm not usually paying any particular attention to it.

Yeah, I think he missed the Wycombe and Cambridge game (maybe even the Shrewsbury game as well), but was certainly back on Friday.

Yes, the PA isn't great in the East stand (thankfully on some occasions...).
