The 17 Bus
Royal Lady If you only want to go to Charlton, surely you won't be forced into buying a Man U ticket as well??

well of course you will the Charlton ticks are not on sale individually, untill after the Man U game.
Well, I thought someone on here was moaning that they couldn't go to the Man U game anyway.

New addition to the tickets page for the reason for the linking:

"We are also very keen to ensure the team are cheered on by full houses in all the games leading up to Christmas."

I must say that those who reckoned we could have sold out for this season at any price have been rather conspicuous by their absence recently.

Unfortunately, the pricing gamble appears to have already gone tits up, as they say. By the end of the season, they'll be paying us to watch them!

If the club do sell a lot of tickets for Utd and you can only get a ticket for big games by having a lot of Royalty points, then those of us who have less points need to look at the less glamorous ties to get a ticket. If the games were not linked then I could probably get a Charlton ticket. Surely if Utd is a sell out (which I expect it will be) then so will Charlton.

Exactly. As PP said, you can't buy a single Charlton ticket because this would create a 'de-linked' United seat that could only be sold on its own.

And as a result of this absolutely pointless linking system will mean that even those games I can get to are probably out of the question now.

Looks like a season watching Sky is on the cards :(

Those of us that travelled to Burnley in the snow last season still only get 2 points for that.
Personally i dont think anyone should get any points at all for last season. You only get a chance to prove your loyalty (sorry, Royalty) when things aren't so good. If Burnley last year was worth 2 points then Burnley midweek a couple of years back (0-3) was worth 50.
How bout all the people like me who went to bristol citl and saw us get thumped 4-0

You should be able to get tickets for Charlton as the official site says that there are more available for Charlton than Manure due to less hospitality etc (I guess sky won't need to build their hut either)
