Quick Pricing Query - for the stattoes?

by Dirk Gently » 05 Sep 2006 16:22

Can anyone quickly tell me how much did a ST cost for the first MadStad season (98/99)?

Even better, what was the equivalent price the previous year at Elm Park, and what were ST prices for the years 99 onwards?

TIA

My last ST at Elm Park - which was the season before we left was £120 I think - with a hooky NUS card :?

Would that be for season ticket renewals (previously held STs at Elm Park) or new ST holders? Tell you what, here's both:

1997/8 ST holders

West Stand Upper
Adult £320
Concessions £190
Young Royals £100

West Stand Lower
Adult £225
Concessions £130
Young Royals £80

East Stand
Adult £225
Concessions £130
Young Royals £80

North Stand
Adult £225
Concessions £130
Young Royals £80

New ST holders

West Stand Upper
Adult £340
Concessions £200
Young Royals £100

West Stand Lower
Adult £240
Concessions £135
Young Royal £80

East Stand
Adult £240
Concessions £135
Young Royals £80

North Stand
Adult £240
Concessions £135
Young Royals £80

These prices were for STs bought before 29.5.98. All categories increased from 1.6.98

In addition 'extensive parking will be available where, for a nominal charge, supporters will be able to park adjacent to the stadium' (although this was a change from the free parking advertised earlier in the year!).

See Spacey; Quality not quantity!

If I dig around a bit more I may have the details of a few other seasons somewhere.

That'd be much appreciated - the last season at EP is most interesting.

Sorry, not sure I've got that one. I was a plastic back in those days -never saw a point in having a season ticket just to stand on my particular spot on the South Bank! Everyone knew it was my space anyway!

I wonder whether any of the programmes at the end of the last but one season at Elm Park had details in them.

So for the East Stand then, a £335 increase since the first season but two divisions higher.

My first ST (back in the Elm Park days of the early 80s) cost around 40 quid!

Seeing those first Mad stad ticket prices is shocking. I only paid £100 for my first ST 2 years ago as a young royal. :o
