Humanistic Couldn't believe it when they announced the crowd. Were there really more people there today than against Manchester United and Chelsea? The fair number of empty seats would suggest otherwise.

PieEater There were loads of empty seats dotted around, so presumably this attendance is seats sold rather than people through the turnstiles.

Looking again at match footage from the Villa game there are hundreds of empty seats. Anyone know how they come up with the "Attendance" figure?

Weirdly, they decide to count the number of people coming through the turnstiles, rather than the foolproof method of looking on the tv and guessing...
