No it can hold up to 3,000 but I guess the club recon they will not sell that many so have opted for the lower, segregated (ie stand hared with home fans) amount. With a capacity of 27,000 we are entitled to 2,700.

As this is Easter Monday, 8pm kick off and on tv, I think the club have pobably got this right.

I think for a 3pm KO that would have been the case, but I reckon that 8pm KO on a bank holiday with poor public transport services of South East London on the eve of going back to work after the long weekend might stack the odds against an away sell out.

I was all set for going before they moved the kick off. Still might, but we'll have to check the train times etc - could be a mare getting back.

I think its a poor move from the club, they should have taken all the tickets they could get, there were a lot of people that lost out on some away games because they didn't have enough points, and now when there was a hope of getting a ticket to a local game, the TO decides not to bother. If it was Bolton or Blackburn I could understand it, but not Charlton.

Surely we have an option on the rest of the normal allocation.

Almost certainly - it's the same old story of not wanting to swallow the potential cost of 1500 unused tickets (or however many there happen to be this time around).

I would say if we sell our initial allocation quickly we'll get more, otherwise they'll probably start selling the other tickets to Charlton fans.

If I didn't go because it was 8pm KO and on TV I would be letting SKY TV win, therefore I'm going to go if I get a ticket

It'll be the same as Utd, initial allocation and then another batch after. Unless the TO has made a right cock up

Which is a possibility we can never, sadly, rule out.
