Away pants day(s)

by wallyroyal » 14 May 2007 13:25

Thinking about inflatable days and the pants day a couple of years ago, there should be a pants day for all the away games that are played against the team at the bottom of the league so to boost the atmosphere and to poke fun at all the times they shoot wide and make themselves look shite. Club can make an earner by selling RFC pants and would make a great away day out and no stewards can take them off you as well.

Pants day had it's day, to imitate it will be an insult to the thousands who were in attendance who sacrificed their cash on tickets for the greater good of future generations.

I pray we never have to again have to wave our pants in frustration but accept part of our success is due to the tactical pants deterants many of us have sat in our underwear draws, for that reason alone I think full abandonment of pants would be a disaster, not to mention chaffing, However partial decomissioning is acceptable considering the success we've enjoyed of late.

How about a where's wally day....

Get the club to provide face masks of the big man and then the whole away end could wear the masks....would look great on tv

No because chances are we'll be bottom of the league at some point in the next few seasons. Gloating always comes back to bite you on the arse!

But that's the point that Wally has totally missed, PANTS was a protest, inflatables are a celebration.....
