New online ticketing system

by ArfnipIsARoyal » 20 May 2008 15:15

Don't know if this is elsewhere but just had a look at the new system. Looks good. Also you can now select a seat for a match instead of getting 'best available'

You'd think they'd keep that quiet until they've sold a few season tickets.

I'm impressed with it except for two things:

1. Lack of the full name of the people you are linked to (so if you're buying for related people you have to know their membership numbers).

2. No visible Loyalty Point totals (although points for each individual game are on there).

Loyalty points missing is a bit crap.

Another good point is when selecting a seat it has the view from that block so you can see what you are getting.

Saw that on the Brizzol City website when I was looking at potential prices for next year - quite impressive but a little pointless at he Mad Stad IMO.

They were my only two problems but apart from that its seems alot better then before! Being able to select individual seats is fantastic.Hopefully this will aid group bookings and could pave the way for a 'rowdy' section for the cups or something.

Re Royalty Points:

Hi [Row Z Royal],

We currently have a small technical problem with the new online ticketing so can not view the royalty point total. We are aware of this problem and we will hopefully get it fixed as soon as possible.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Your royalty point total is: 642.

Kind Regards

Is it true you have also asked the club for half-season ticket costs so you can defer your ST until Christmas and if we aren't in with a chance of going up you won't bother...

The only other thing that might be improved is that there is currently no record of prices paid in the payment history.

Is anyone else having problems with renewing with a Maestro card? The only options are Visa, MasterCard and Switch, and while Maestro is technically a Switch card, it keeps asking me for the issue number where Maestro's don't have them, they have valid from dates (which I have also put in). Really frustrating, and looks like I'm going to have to actually talk to a human being to get renewed...

I have just renewed ST using my HSBC Maestro card with no problem but that does in fact have an issue number.

Won't accept my HSBC Maestro which is a tad annoying, looks like I'll have to renew over the phone.

More than 2 weeks on and still no Royalty points. Glad it is only a small technical problem.

Two months on and no change with regard to the lack of Royalty points.

Does the seat view work for away games too :)

Seat view doesn't work for away games.

Just purchased 1st 3 league games + Forest & Daggers + Villa friendly and when you wish to choose the same seat for different games, it doesn't allow you too because the online basket already has it for your previous selection, which meant I had to do 3 seperate transactions. Still no sign of how many points you have on the ticketing part of the website.
