Pondering the first 'Kid for a Quid'

by aardvark » 03 Aug 2008 13:41

I'm idly pondering when the first kid for a quid match might me. An interesting question that combines many intricately related factors including the team's likely form, the clubs sales and marketing strategies, and even macro-economics (maybe the much talked-about credit crunch will reduce attendances).

Using my skill and judgement, I'm plumping for Doncaster on Oct 21st.

And I mean proper, full-blown, no-holds barred, kid for a quid - not anything tied in to being a Young Royal or committing to purchase tickets for the next umpteen games, etc.

I think that's half term week, so it's an absolute shoe-in.

Who knows - we might be 10 points clear at the top by then, with tickets being like rocking horse droppings....

They have to be Young Royals, not just kids.

If a Young Royal already has a ticket they can get one for a friend for a quid though.
