Always thought for the size of the country and general heritage of its population, Mexico should be far, far better at football than they are.

Have you watched Netflix FIFA corruption programme?

Wondering if it's worth it. But 4 hours seems a lot!

not seen it no. Being Netflix I am just surprised it isn't 12 x 1 hour episodes with a 2nd series on the way

It’s ok people can still drink Bud Zero

We’ve come a long way from banning Dutch fans from wearing pants with the wrong logo so not to upset Budweiser to complete abandoning all principles to cave to qatar

Feeling very flat about the WC tbh, although mention of Mexico reminds me I have this in the loft somewhere - will be excavating it out for a watch (Caine/Wakeman/Hugo Sanchez/Preben Elkjaer - magic...)

Apparently won’t apply to those who are in the coroporate boxes so getting a bit like Covid really where Covid couldn’t be transmitted if you were a VIP on a jolly somewhere.

Wonder if Budweiser will now sue FIFA for breach of contract?

Infantino just did a press conference and when asked about discrimination against the gay community in Qatar he said 'I know what it's like to be discriminated against, I was bullied for having red hair'

Gianni Infantino starts his press conference with some opening remarks: "Today I have very strong feelings. Today I feel Qatari. Today I feel Arab. Today I feel African. Today I feel Gay. Today I feel disabled. Today I feel a migrant worker.".....
Infantino adds: "I'm not Qatari, African, gay, disabled & I'm not really a migrant worker but I know what it means to be discriminated & bullied, as a foreign in a foreign country, as a child at school I was bullied because I had red hair and freckles. I was bullied for that."

Jeffrey Schlupp's agent on his client not being picked for the Ghana World Cup squad:

'Sh*t country, I hope you guys get knocked out, f*ck Ghana, f*ck the GFA, Ghanaians are disgraceful, don't ever call my phone again, a bunch of imbeciles from the president all the way to the coach, f*ck you'

And this on the back of him getting another 4 years at the top of FIFA, after no candidate stepped up to challenge him.

Perhaps he is feeling untouchable like the previous FIFA president...
