That "trick" German free kick...
Anyone remember a similar routine from (possibly) a Pardew side a few years back where two players ran up at the same time, started arguing with each other, then a third curled it in?
Perhaps just my memory playing tricks on me...

Lol, definitely happened on multiple occasions, I'm sure we scored from it at least once so we kept doing it. In my memory (also shit when it comes to football) I thought it was Jim and Mick era?

They always manage to scrape through, without ever being exciting. It's dull & predictable. I will be French on Friday.-
