Zammo QPR at 4/5 looks a knocking bet.

Is it worth putting £50 on a Newcastle win against Bolton?

You get back £36 profit. I think it's a pretty good return on a result which I think is quite likely.

(I'm a betting novice btw).

You think that's a lot?

Suppose it is. I've only ever made two bets on football before, and both times I put a stake of 50 quid down.

(I won both btw).

Well you're betting on a newcastle side, albeit it bouyant after keegans return, and that bolton have just parted company with Anelka. Both unconvincing in the league..... N'castle without emre, Smith and Butt

I just dont have the money laying around but would put money on N'castle if I were a betting man.

You don't?

1.69 isn't much value on a Newcastle win. I'd avoid, perhaps look at the goals market (over 2.5)?

I do think it's a lot of money, and since making my original post decided I couldn't afford to lose it!

Newcastle are 5/6 on BetFair, which is a bit better, probably pretty fair actually considering Bolton have only 3 points and 7 goals in their 11 away games this season.

Newcastle's 12 home games have so far yielded 33 goals.

Been at work today but managed to get my African Nations Cup bets on;

Egypt to win the ANC @ 10/1 (E/W 1/2)
Morocco to win the ANC @ 14/1 (E/W 1/2)

Marouane Chamakh to be Top Goalscorer @ 28/1

Also had Sulley Muntari to score the 1st goal today @ 7/1 (E/W 1/4 1-2-3-4), so he scored the 3rd and the winner.

Major murking, backed Marouane Chamakh to be 1st goalscorer in Morocoo Vs Namibia game @4/1, he goes virtually 1 on 1 with goalkeeper and hits the post, then pulls the ball back for his team mate who duely obligied to score

Best bet of the weekend for me is Kidderminster at 4/5 with Corals, i'm doubling that up with Inglis Drever at Cheltenham at 6/4, i'm toying with throwing in MK Dons at 8/11 at home to Rochdale, but their form has been sketchy recently.
