5 year €150 Million shirt sponsorship deal with Qatar Foundation. Unicef will also still be on the shirt.
Is this true? Bit of a cop out by Barca if it is.

If I didn't know better I'd say putting UNICEF on the shirt in the 1st place was all to get people used to seeing a logo on the shirt so they could move into shirt sponsorship.
Doesn't this belong in either the World Cup thread or Qatar 2022?

Well made point, but it shouldn't matter! Unicef felt the benefits either way!

Report in The Guardian yesterday said that Joan Laporte had tried to get a shirt sponsor before UNICEF, but had failed to close the deal.
