Green How much is entry?

Free. They do charge you for the interactive games etc - called "football plus" http://www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/visit/football-plus/

Green Yeh I'd guessed he was there with the prawn sandwich brigade.

Paid my own train fare and overnight accommodation for this one.

Nope - football is pretty much beyond redemption. Didn't put myself up for re-election at Annual Conference at the weekend.

Still disgusted it got moved from it's spiritual home in Preston tbh, another example of the money grabbers taking over football.

Disgraceful

I was, but while that was morally a rightful home for it, it was losing so much money being there that it didn't have a future. At least now it has a sceure future and can be seen by more people.

I suppose it's fitting that as the game becomes more capitalist the museum does as well.

I'm just old fashioned but I like the idea of it being in some random Northern town having steadily grown out of an obsessive fans front room.

Maguire Football isn't very high up my list of things that belong in a museum tbh.

I'd like to see that list at some point Maguire.
