Noticed this being done a few times lately, admittedly at the end of games, including Jake Cooper being brought on as a striker against Watford.

Something to be said for having a tall, strong header of the ball in the box when you're playing long ball.

Ouroboros And remind us what happened last time?

I don't think West Ham are about to be kicked out of the FA Cup.

I don't see how FIFA can prove that he didn't have an injury preventing him flying out that cleared up enough to feature as sub 18 days later. Unless their regulations specifically say that someone is barred from playing for anyone during the tournament if he withdrew from the international squad through injury.

Even then, you're probably right that West Ham will get another slap on the wrist and be fine.

Their regulations say exactly that and of course West Ham have just been given a fine

I'm sure they said when the game was on that West Ham had actually agreed with whichever country that Sakho plays for that he was OK to play as he was now fit.

West Ham out - good! They had a real chance this season and got their comeuppance.

Bradford knocking out Sunderland so the season of shocks continues.....

Lol at those West Ham fans having a pop at Sullivan after the game at West Brom..........they'd probably built themselves up so much because they are having a decent season.

All that happened was that they were well beaten by a much better side on the day........isn't that what cup football is all about? And to think they way they go on and on about support etc.........they're just as sad as every other set of spoilt brat fans.

My ideal semi final line up would be

Arsenal v West Brom
Blackburn v Bradford (for Parky)

Final of

Blackburn v West Brom - with either West Brom or Blackburn winning it....

I still remember them being above the triviality of the FA Cup a few years ago to play in that silly cup the other side of the world.

Have to say these QF's are extremely well balanced. It would be a bit of a surprise if Blackburn turned the scousers over, apart from that the other three games could easily go either way.
I reckon the Semi-Finalists:

Reading
WBA
Liverpool
Arsenal

Could make it interesting if Reading make it to both the FA Cup and Play Off finals  :?
