Hoop BlahNo Fixed Abode The question was "England's best striker". Not England's best player.
OK, so last week Charlton was the better striker but this week it's Rooney?

No Fixed Abode It's subjective so the only way you can judge it is by stats.

Exactly, it is subjective, so it can't be judged by the stats otherwise that would be objective.
So what is your opinion on who's been the best forward/attacker/goalscorer/striker*?
* choose which descriptive noun you prefer to answer.

No Fixed Abode No, John Terry isn't a striker.
Hoop Blah I'm not asking for conclusive proof Kes, I'm asking for your opinion on which player you think is better.
TBMNo Fixed Abode No, John Terry isn't a striker.

No Fixed Abode Quite clearly it's Rooney. He's scored more goals than any other England player.
Stats don't lie.

Where does that say Bobby Charlton is an England striker?
