So after all his bullshit whelping about not being respected and still being able to play at the highest level, he fcuks off to whichever Middle Eastern farmer's league is prepared to throw the most money at him.

I mean, we all knew he as going to do it because no team in a reputable league sees any value in signing him but it was all about the money and he can merrily contribute to Saudi sportswashing. Can't help but feel he's been played. Not like he can use his not inconsiderable profile to raise issues when he's being paid off to the tune of £350 a second. I'm sure he'll play the "I'm just here to play football" card but he's now a brand ambassador whether he likes it or not.

What a self absorbed gobshite.
