WestYorksRoyal Of the 3 promoted sides, I think Luton have the best chance. Before the season, I said Burnley but I guess if you're a diet Man City that doesn't work against technically superior teams. Luton by contrast have physicality, workrate and have the wide quality to put consistently good balls into the area. They're also brave enough to have men in the box attacking crosses. I think they will pick up a handful of wins at home. It'll partly be settled off the pitch, as I can see Everton's deduction being reduced to 6.

Yeah, agree with Luton, real fight about them. Home advantage is key. Nothing to lose mentality. Signings in January will be very interesting.

It does seem like Luton have began to find their feet a little bit at this level now, they looked well out of their depth in the first half a dozen or so games but they've slowly kept themselves in games and picked up wins/points because of it, they were close to a very good result last night on top of a very good point at home to Liverpool. It does seem like they are the most likely of the 3 at the moment.

Burnley, although narrowly getting beat last night, seemed to have improved their performances a bit if Kompany is to be believed, close to taking something against West Ham where they were good for about 75 minutes of that game as well, thrashed Sheff United and a mistake cost them last night when they could have easily taken a point.

What a terrific game Villa v Man City is.

And what an incredible job Emrie has done. They have battered City playing some great football.

The improvement in Leon Bailey is nothing short of gobsmacking

The last few days have produced some brilliant games.

Absolutely magnificent from Villa tonight. Definitely a performance that suggests top 4, but I'll only start believing if they're still there in April.

Chelsea fans beginning to turn on Pochettino

19 points from his first 15 games. the table is quite packed behind them too, they are only 3 points ahead of Bournemouth in 15th place

I wouldn't say last night was the final straw but they can't keep losing to crap teams.

Terrible recruitment is to blame at Chelsea IMO. I think Poch is a very good manager but he's been killed by Chelsea's scouting team and decision makers.

Just realised Chelsea have a very kind run of fixtures coming up so that will take the heat off of him I guess

Next 5 PL fixtures - Everton, Shef Utd, Wolves, Palace, Luton

If they don't get 9+ from that, I think serious questions will need to be asked.

Thats 5 of the bottom 8. I would think anything less than 12, if not 13 points and they can be unhappy. They really shouldn't be losing matches to any of those teams

This experiment with playing central defenders as midfielders has to stop soon doesn't it. Phillips and Kovacic sat on the bed watching Stones and Akanji play there must make they wonder what they have to do to get a start.

City have lost four games in all competitions this season, and they are the four games that Rodri has missed. He is key to the side.

But yes, as above, Villa were awesome last night. 22 shots to 2 in their favour, against City? Dear me.

This is both shocking and scandalous in equal measure. Smaller clubs once again completely robbed of exposure and money.
