Classic Yorkshire Royal. Knows he is wrong, is given evidence that he is wrong but still doubles down.

A classic OMA comment. I forgot the season finished after 15 games.

Related, every time I remember, I'm amazed at how young Wayne Rooney was when his form clearly, and permanently, dropped away. Barely 32. Only three of his one time record 53 England goals came after he turned 30.

The guy is only 38 now, and six months younger than Cristiano Ronaldo. Feels like he has been retired forever.

He's also got an appalling managerial record. 26.5% win rate from 147 games as a manager - he surely won't get many more jobs.

Ideal fit for Reading then.

I reckon Freddy Adu's mum was filling in the paperwork when he started at Everton

Villa carrying on where they left off against City.

Slick, aggressive and incisive football. Brilliant to watch.

ok, I am not a great fan of Arsenal, but a Villa win here would be great for the Premiership.

I think even RR might agree a bit.

Could have done with Palace hanging on this morning, though.

Pochettino has to be close to the exit door now. I predict Mr Mourinho will be Chelsea manager by the end of January.

Can’t see it happening

Mourinho may be plenty of things but one thing he isn’t is stupid and surely he can see that the young squad they’ve assembled won’t match what he needs, would only lead to one thing and that’s disaster
