Better off out of there. He's better than them.

Harsh on Cagliari. They are a plucky underdog.

They are a complete basket case. Just re-hire Mourinho and be done with it.

Good move for Poch and United. He is superior to ETH in every way.

Read that Bellamy was unlikely to go there.

Sorry but that's just so

Why doesn't anyone want to manage Bayern?

Just about the only reason I could possibly think of is that you’re minimum target is to win every domestic trophy and quite possibly the CL
Having said that, the payoff when you fail would probably mean you can cry all the way to the bank

Rooney to Plymouth is just laughable. Have to wonder the mentality of these clubs. Unsuccessful at the 3 clubs he has been at. Complete red flags against his name. You do wonder if this is more about him, bustling his way in there, with a celebrity consortium as well.

It's almost as if some clubs just want to be the one that it works at.

At some point, people are just going to have to accept that he isn't a very good manager. The only place he did remotely OK at was Derby and it appears that was mainly due to the work od Liam Rosenior given the decent job he has done elsewhere since.

He has a 27.7% win rate over his managerial career and lost 49.3% of all games managed.

Of course possible that this is just a PR job by Plymouth to get their manager hunt in the news and they have no intention of actually hiring the guy.

Barnsley have appointed Cheltenham manager Darrell Clarke as their new boss. Think that should be a good move for all parties.

It sort of worked the last time they did it, getting to the PO final in 2023.

Micahel Duff is now manager of Huddersfield Town (but still lives in Cheltenham).

Brogue it will be interesting to see if Parky gets some approaches this summer if there are big moves in the manager market. if for instance, McKenna goes to Brighton, and Edwards goes to Ipswich, would a club like Luton look to parky? He's got to be hot property. 5 promotions under his belt now, from what I can gather he is second only to Neil Warnock for promotions in the EFL. Will Parky think he's taken Wrexham as far as they can go? or is there unfinished business for him still.

Wrexham basically have a Championship budget, so on the one hand he should fancy another promotion.

On the other hand when he dipped into the Play Offs this season the Wrexham fans wanted him sacked, and two promotions in two years is going to be asking a hell of a lot of your squad to keep stepping up, and even Wrexham can't afford to buy most of a new squad.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sacked by Xmas.

Any ideas as to why certain teams out/underperform following promotion? Had a brief look (i.e. not much beyond identifying teams)

Any ideas as to why certain teams out/underperform? With Reading FC's 2004/5/6 squad, I just think they were that good. A mid prem team playing in the Champs. Then you have a team like Ipswich who came second in both promotions so it's not like they blew the league away

Is it down to the manager or a massive element of luck in terms of recruitment/injuries/whatevs. By luck I mean they assembled the squad in the lower division and it has massively outperformed fan expectation
