Double C
Four Of Clubs .

The biggest game ever in SE Dons history today!!!! First ever fa vase game at home to Bedfont

Are Bedfont any good? What is their league and level like compared to Dons?

I think I've realised now btw why Dons and Whyteleafe are sharing players around and SE Dons have got these weird dual deals with about loads of their team

Because whyteleafe went to the final last year and both managers are brothers

Well se dons are currently 5-1 just after halftime so that answers that question

New manager Matt Saunders definitely got his hands full to turn them around, a few player departures of old school faves who obviously didn't fit into the new regime

- bit concerned about 'Finch' in this division: - slaughtered 10-1 by WW a few weeks back - fought out a 3-3 with RG City's Reserve side then gave Burghfield a W/O in their next league game. They've since lost heavily in the County Trophy and postponed the 2 subsequent home fixtures.... hope there's nothing amiss there.

Does anyone have the full story of what has been/is going on with Bracknell. Seem to be a real basket case club these days, their next manager will be their third this season. They are probably amongst the faves to be relegated the way things are going.

...nope but my drinkininnge mate may have some ITK - especially as his kin tend to go to the the SB regularly. I'm seeing him this eve but the full story may not have filtered out quite yet....

Ex-Skipper/Player Manager - Carl Davies - takes interim reins for Sunday's Trophy game vs Banbury
£11/£7 cash or card at the gate.

Royals and Racers Sandhurst 2 Woodley 3 last night.

...I was there too! Woodley can now go top if they avoid defeat at Sluff (v Langley) - though the chasing pack all have games in hand themselves (Bedfont, P&TG & Brook House).

Shame the 'main' bar couldn't be opened last night - not enough staff again apparently -
- the Duty manager was rushed off her feet handling all the other off field matters and running the food/kiosk - which at least does have beer - so I grabbed my obligatory 'halves' pre and mid-match and sheltered inside the bar.
Lovely touch that she managed to make an extra effort on a difficult night for her, to bring a drink to the lovely old lady that takes the gate at Rivermoor for Woodley - who was also sheltering in there - is a fairly decent view of the action.

Stan Bembenek - from RTFC days, where he was a Director/Chair ? - was in there too. He follows Sandhurst now - may even have some official status with them - he often 'holds court', when the 'Fizzers' are at home.? 8)
- not sure he'd remember me - I did wave :D - he is the type who would - he ran Sports shops in Reading (Minster St?) way back.
Was very big in Disabled Golf - may still be -was a top International Player - lost a leg to serious illness many years ago.

...got either Hartley W. (v Fareham) or Cobham (v Alton) nearer the top of my long 'possible' list for tonight (Tue).

Not sure about Wed yet - best/easiest pick from about half a doz. games, would be to see if 'Blues' (Burnham v Ashford T Mx) can hang on to to spot in the CCL-PN.

RFCMod ... Saunders gone ! Resigned this morning.

Does anyone have the full story of what has been/is going on with Bracknell. .

...nope but my drinkininnge mate may have some ITK - especially as his kin tend to go to the the SB regularly. I'm seeing him this eve but the full story may not have filtered out quite yet....

Ex-Skipper/Player Manager - Carl Davies - takes interim reins for Sunday's Trophy game vs Banbury
£11/£7 cash or card at the gate.

Did you get any “news”! Presume Davies will get the management gig after turning Banbury over.

– as R&R touched on above - game at Havant &W’s Westleigh Park on Wed eve postponed in contentious circumstances :
– Ref deemed a kit clash – on the face of it (literally) green/whites bars vs all white but the reverse of the visitors shirt is predominantly white.
- No change kit could be found so they delayed KO to 20:15 while someone dashed back north to retrieve the home kit (claret/blue?)
- in the meantime Town complained about a ‘rip’ in the 3G pitch.
- wasn’t remedied to their satisfaction, so the Ref had no option but to call it off. Rumoured that Town then trained on the same damaged area of the surface??

Berkhamsted v Havant & Waterlooville
Bracknell Town v Dorchester Town
- heard Withers and McClurg have thrown their hat(s) in the ring as it were - to re-join as the management team but seemingly not that hopeful, bearing in mind the slightly acrimonious manner of their previous departures.
