AthleticoSpizz Worthy winners Macc

Can't think of a bigger FA Cup shock off the top of my head (even taking into account Palace not playing a full strength side). Massive fair play to Macclesfield.

Betting fix.

The goalie definitely could have saved the second goal.

FA Cup 3rd round is so depressing now, watching all the lower division teams getting turned over by Premier reserve teams

Mind you if Slot selects League Cup “give away” team then tomorrow’s game should be worth watching.

Why what's he done, except giving the scousers something else to grizzle about.
He apologised not knowing the extent of the others player injury who incidentally managed to injure himself.
Apology accepted. We move on and congratulate Martinelli for getting a hat trick and a Man of the Match performance

Swindon beat Luton in the Vertu Trophy, but one of their players was left off the team sheet, so will probably get kicked out.

Royal Rother Yeah, okay VAR, you’re having a laugh now.

What was it, nearly 5 minutes?

How could Attwell decide that Haaland was holding Thiaw more strongly than Thiaw was holding him in that split second and his elbow becoming offside was a clear and obvious error beggars belief.

For football's sake I was glad that City ended up getting the 2nd goal that they deserved.
Incidentally Semenyo has fitted in like a glove.

Seems clear that Rosenior’s style is to move the ball quickly at all times.

Looks like they will be fined if anyone is in possession for more than 2 seconds!

Pretty entertaining to watch, but they need to work on the playing out from the back stuff as they look highly dodgy doing that.

Excellent 2nd half - yep, I think Chelsea are going to be fun to watch under Rosenior.

Arsenal missed some big chances to put the tie to bed. but Sanchez gifted them one. Not convinced by Kepa, Raya should be in there for the final against city if they make it.

Battered City on the counter. Hit the post and three disallowed goals for marginal offside.

Surely has to be Arsenal's year this time? Before Christmas I thought City were on one of those ominous runs which have reeled in Liverpool and Arsenal before, but this is not one of their vintage teams.

Arsenal don't need to be a great team to win it this year. They just need to be good enough, which I think they are.
