PEARCEY Another good win for Wales. Bale simply outstanding. We end up only three points behind Montenegro.

Very good once again, Decent Cameo for Churchy too.

According to the Beeb, seedings are:

Portugal (seed)
Republic of Ireland (seed)
Croatia (seed)
Czech Republic (seed)

Bosnia/Herzegovina
Estonia
Montenego
Turkey

Bosnia and Turkey would be ones to avoid.

Turkey are 27th in the FIFA rankings and Ireland 29th, so that's not right.

actually scrap that, I don't know because Bosnia are 22nd in the rankings and Czech 40th. Silly rankings.

It isn't based on FIFA rankings, it's based on national team coefficients.

Obviously, we would really be hoping for Estonia. A nice trip away, a 0-0 draw and a referee-inspired victory at home. After the France-scandal, I can see Ireland getting the 'benefit of the doubt' this time around. Certainly, some of the decisions against Armenia last night were disgraceful. The keeper being sent off was harsh (wrong) in the extreme. Bosnia is really the team I would hope we would avoid - Turkey haven't been terribly impressive in the group stages but then again, neither were Ireland.

At least they have won one. Reading are 0-5 and can't see that changing any time soon.

Strange comparison between domestic competition involving a two legged semi and a one leg final versus an international competition with a seeded two legged final.

We've actually got a 3-2 record in the semi's too.

Turkey v Croatia
Estonia v ROI
Montenegro v Czech
Bosnia v Portugal.

Pretty much the best Ireland could have hoped for. Would love to see Bosnia turn Portugal over.

Looking at their respective qualification campaigns so far, looks like Bosnia have got a decent chance.

I think Simon Cox should be banned for life from International football after his disgusting handball against Armenia.
