Did Palace get some investment I missed out on? Weren't they on the financial precipice not that long ago?

Zaha has spent 90% of this game being completely ordinary and wins it with some utterly sublime movement strength and skills with both of those goals

He'll be good with more consistency, hope we can convince him England are the team for him.

lolz, Brighton fans leaving early

I don't agree with that - Zaha really started to turn it on at the end of the 1st half. He's caused them problems most of the match.

MmmMonsterMunch The only issue I have is that Brighton will be a force next year....

But I do still want to see Palace do it.

'tis always a good away day though.

True, I'd rather Crystal Palace got promoted than Watford though.

Brighton have 4 minutes to score two.

Pleased for Holloway & Palace - hope they go all the way now.

Knew Brighton would choke at home tonight. Having the 2nd leg at home is not always a good thing IMO.

Surely they'll be the new Reading if they go up though? Doomed to fail!

Had to be Palace vs Watford after Holloway's thoughts on the Watford loan situation.

They need the money, even if it's just for one season

Was at the first leg of that game on Friday night with a mate who is Palace. Cracking atmosphere all game, best I've seen in an English game as a neutral.

They got Murray, the league's top scorer on a free. Zaha, came through the youth so he was obviously free.
Sold both Clyne and Moses (probably had an add-on for him) for decent amounts in recent years.
Now they've sold Zaha for a massive amount.

They should be in a pretty decent financial position by now.

Winning the play-offs is still the best way to go up IMO. I'd love to see us do it that way.

True, but they've got a slice of fortune with their location though. South London must have 1 million people at least, and unlike North, West and East London there are no Prem teams to compete with for youngsters.

In some ways, yes, but the location restriction was one hour's travel time, which meant that all of their area was available to all other London clubs.

But that qualification has gone under EPPP, anyway - it's now a free-for-all.
