Skin
paultheroyal Will stick to my 2.5+ ratio. the first 5 games in league one were 2.5+ - deffo the way to go.

I said all along: League 1, always stick to Under 2.5 goals. Definitely not '2.5+ the way to go' with League 1.

Yesterdays afternoon results show 8 out of 10 came in under 2.5....

Stick to this.

LOL after last Saturday!!!!

I've gone for a big bet on Turkey to win in Estonia at 1/2.

I did a 14 game acca for a laugh on Saturday's qualifiers and they all came in :-S £5 returned £47.20.

Why do you lump qualifiers in with friendlies and cup games as ones to avoid? I'd think they'd be the most competitive matches and most likely to give a result in line with the teams' abilities. Betting on friendlies is madness as they're not competitive and cup games have the whole "resting players" issue. Interested on your thoughts.

Left last night alone as there weren't many games I fancied.

Just a personal view, but essentially qualifiers are cup games - any 12 match campaign that lasts the best part of two years can't be seen as a league IMO - and you can't get any idea of form (except in the games like England v Andorra where the odds of an England win are so short it's not worth it for me seeing as I only ever bet around a fiver  )

Wouldn't agree with the concept to avoid friendlies, you just need to look at different markets to get value price wise.

Everyone knows it's all about the FA Cup though, was up £500 on that market last season and tipped Portsmouth @ 11's in Round 5, bring on 1st Round Day!

Fair enough, although the top teams do generally go through and they do take the games seriously.

Reason I don't like the cup is mainly due to the modern trend of resting players.

Pricewise......betfair had WBA at 25s against Manchester United earlier today, I've had that and will be trading it, hopefully before kick off.

Otherwise I'm on overs for the Villa and QPR matches.

I'm back on BetFair today - I feel safer there.

Backing Celtic at 1.57 (4pts), and Midds and Chelsea to draw at 3.85 (2pts). Hope to trade out on the latter.

Norwich
Brum
Swansea
Reading

£0.50 Lucky 15 for £118.21

Also liking the odds (8/1) of Wigan at Liverpool. Might have a cheeky fiver on them.

Hmm. Not quite to plan, but they cancel each other out, so back to square one.

For the 3pms, I am doing a paultheroyal style multiple on over 2.5 goals, for the following games:

United v West Brom
QPR v Forest
Bristol City v Norwich
Southend v Swindon
Walsall v Hartlepool
Bradford v Gillingham

That's around 47/1.

And I like Pompey to win at Villa at 9/2, and MK Dons at Crewe, 11/10.
