I am always wary of using results from previous seasons for any sort of betting guide. Saying that, St Mirren are low scorers, just 4 in their last 5 at home, and 18 in 23 league games. On the other side, 14 goals in Killie's last 5 away games.

I think Pompey might represent some value, at around 7/2, to win at Fulham. Only one home defeat for Fulham so far, but they have won only 1 of their last 9. Now Bullard-less, I think Fulham are too short at marginally odds-on. But Pompey have lost players themselves, and are hardly on a great run. I don't think there will many goals, I might back the draw.

To win -
Portsmouth v Fulham Draw 3.31
Southampton v Swansea 2.09
Carlisle v Colchester 2.80

£5 pays £91.06

Under 2.5 goals -
Fulham v Portsmouth 1.7
Aston Villa v Wigan 1.78
QPR v Reading 1.75

£5 pays £21.90

Cmonurz - the past history is nothing more than that, sometimes relevant sometimes not. As you say, St Mirren have been low scorers, they've been that way since returning to the top flight.

I allowed myself to be swayed by the history, and St Mirren's coyness in front of goal, lumped on unders and have just greened out.

A sensible person would quit for the day now, happy that his earlier lay of Southampton was covered.

However.....

I got 3/5 or 1.6 with Jennings Bet on unders, put my £70 balance on it and had to see it out to the end, 1-1 with 10 minutes to go I was watching a very long 10 minutes plus 3 added. Still finished 1-1. £112 back.

Readingfanman Swansea 2.30 *****
Tranmere 2.375 ****
Morcambe 2.25 ****
Fulham 2.00 ***
MK Dons 2.10 ***
Leicester 2.00 ***
Blackburn 3.10 ***
Wycombe 1.667 **
Stoke 3.30 **
Arsenal Draw West Ham **
Wolves Draw Watford *

Been looking at the 3PM kick offs this weekend, and got these down as early shortlist games, what do people make of them?

7 out of 11. 3 who I predicted to win drew. One draw came out as a win for the home side. Not that bad really. None of them lost at least.

Fancying a couple more tomorrow - have just laid Feyenoord away at Nijmegen, and will then be laying overs for Scouse / cheLOLsea.

Extremely tempted to lay Celtic as well, but I'll be sure to bobbybottle that one.

Finished the day £70.86 up as £20 on Benfica, Hoffenheim, and Cardiff City returned £58.86 in total, and a £10 outside bet on MK Dons and Leicester who were both away from home after stumbles midweek returned £42 exactly.

AndyRFC I'm going for a slightly different style this week. Lot of value i've noticed with some teams with Coral, so going to go for when of those thingy-ma-jig Lucky 63 or the like...

Teams in consideration:

WBA 11/5
Charlton 7/2
Swans 5/4
Gills 6/5
B'mouth 5/2
MK Dons EVS
Orient 5/4
Tranmere 13/10

Hence i'll pick some of these in my bet and cover all the combinations etc. I know there are some odd ones in there, Charlton for example! - I just feel Burnley have played so many games recently they and are losing form in the league.

The ones in bold above where the ones i ended up with, lucky 63 @ £0.10 per line. All 6 were coming in at one point, late goals at Tranmere, Bournemouth and Charlton meant a bad day in the end

2 out of three sorted with half an hour to go - Darius Henderson's sending off for Sheff Utd might chuck a spanner in the works though...

Saints equalise in injury time - they'll be no finger nails left in a small corner of Basingrad tonight...

My bet for this evening was successful, but I'm a bit annoyed at myself for playing it cautious. For one of the first times ever, I decided to stagger my multiple into a combination of doubles and trebles, and I've halved my profit in doing so.

My total outlay was £20.00, which I broke down as £3.00 on a fourfold containing Bristol City, MK Dons, and Leicester, as well as Over 2.5 goals in the Wolves v Norwich game.

A further £8.00 was divided up into four £2.00 trebles involving the above selections, followed by six £1.50 bets containing the various doubles.

I'm £105.48 for £20.00 overall, but had I had the bollocks to plump for the straight-forward fourfold, that would be well into the double hundreds. I just thought the weather would mess up one of my away games but they all came through ok in the end.

Mine might be succesful, depends if I can convince Laddies that I meant the Swindon part of my treble not the Stockport part.
Good heads up on Rochdale Tredds

What did you go for in the end? There was only one goal in the Stockport v MK Dons game.
