It'll be safe, but only just. Leicester have some tough games coming up and will hopefully relax a bit once promotion is secured. It was good to see two points dropped today!

Brentford and Wolves, no chance.

As posted on another thread in The Team, Leicester are now on 81 points after 36 games. Comparitively, we were on 86 after 36. We went on to win 5 and draw 5 in our last 10 games:-

Burnley a W 3-0
Watford h D 0-0
Wolves h D 1-1
Leicester a D 1-1
Derby h W 5-0
Cardiff a W 5-2
Leeds a D 1-1
Stoke h W 3-1
Sheff Wed a D 1-1
QPR h W 2-1

With Leicester currently 25 points off the record, they have to win at least 8 of their last 10 to have to even think about challenging the record.

In L1, Wolves have to win every single one of their last 9, while Brentford need to win 9 of their last 10.

If anyone's going to challenge, it'll be Leicester.

Leicester v Yeovil
Burnley v Leicester
Wigan v Leicester
Leicester v Sheff Wed
Leicester v Brighton
Reading v Leicester
Leicester v QPR
Bolton v Leicester
Huddersfield v Leicester

Tough run in for them, surely they can't get through all this lot unscathed?

Leiceester on 81 pts have game 37 tonight at home to Yeovil

We won game 37 3-0 away to Burnley to move to 89 pts, so the best they can o is stay 5 pts off the pace with 9 to go

we did draw the next three so they may well make up ground there although as above he first 2 of those are pretty tricky in anyone's book

It's tight, but I would guess our record is safe

"Our thoughts are with him," Shakespeare added. "Hopefully he will be at the game on Tuesday.
"He is very keen but I don't want to jump ahead of myself. As soon as we get the test results hopefully it put everyone's minds at rest."

It's no

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day

But fair play to him for still churning them out after all these years.

Depends on how much they switch off once they've got promotion and the title secured. We definitely tailed off in the last 10 games.

We still got 20 points in 10 games and they're 5 points off the pace? 26 points from 10 is a huge ask for a team that'll be guaranted promotion before long

Am I right in remembering today as the anniversary of us being promoted- and the following week we were champions? If so, it makes you realise just how outstanding that team was...still all to play for this season.

Has there ever been a team who cost so little, who achieved so much?

Franchise FC Leicester 109
Wolves 107
Brentford 106

Typical that Leicester should salvage a point. :x They can now afford to lose one more and still equal our record. I think they'll do it.

Leagues One and Two don't count.

Have you seen their run in? There's points to be dropped in there, especially when they secure promotion and ease off.
