Whatevs not sure if we're agreeing here

I don't particularly like to see clubs like Man City, Chelsea etc 'buying' the league but how else are they going to challenge your Man Utdsss* in a reasonable time frame.

*RIP

Define reasonable time frame? Why does it have to be 1 or 2 or 5 years? Why should't they have to build up to it over 10 years or more to better the best club in the country for the last 20 years?

Manchester Evening News reporting that the restriction on home grown players in City's Champions' League squad next season will be reduced to 5, from 8. So essentially UEFA have bent over.

Toure is coming over more than a tad precious isn't he!

First he goes off on one about not getting the accolades he thinks he deserves and now he's put out by the lack of birthday greetings. I'm sure there is more to it but, if he didn't like the way the club treats him then perhaps he shouldn't have signed a 4 year contract taking him into his mid-30s on astronomical wages.

That would hugely undermine the severity of the penalty.

Say it ain't so!

If Man City don't have any debt, then why exactly are they being punished?!

I thought Toure was the one who looked disrespectful and an ignorant Cnut not even bothering to look up from his screen or take his headphones off when they brought out his birthday cake and sang to him.

Reason not to like the modern game no.1 - not being able to relate to the precious, overpaid, remote darlings that professional footballers have become.
