I think their relegation had already seen to that.

Relegated to the Conference North, but still Conference. Failing to exit Admin with a CVA means expulsion from the Conference, they rightly dont mess about. Take a note Football League. They will likely get put back to Step 4 at least.

That's the one below Northern Premier?

If placed at that step then in two years they could feasibly be back where they were. This is where a promotion ban would be an apt regulation...

Apparently a lot of their fans think it's the best move.

The stadium owner went back on all of his promises, so the current stadium was killing them. Thisa way they'll start afresh sharing with another club that currently plays in Darlington.

Northern Premier League Divison One North i think its called, but yes 1 below Northern Prem. I think a lot of it might have to do who they share with and what grading that ground has.

Looks like they will be in the Evo-Stick Div 1 North (8th tier) and are looking to ground share with Bishop Aukland

Lol at the new owner who announced that he believed Darlo would be back in the Football League in 3 years only for people to point out to him that that was mathematically impossible. A proper Mike Bassett start to his reign

"Upon being named preferred bidder, discussions with Rangers staff started and discussions with all interested parties intensified.

Ouch!!!

He'll probably get death threats from Rangers fans angry about being called violent.

as a rangers fan this news gets more an more depressing

How do you think Aberdeen survive if there is no Rangers next season? Will you have the income through sponsors, gates and TV money to honour your existing contracts and other commitments?

So where does this leave Rangers? Duff and Phelps say that, after Bill Miller was given preferred bidder status last Thursday, three other bidders came forward.

Now, let's be clear about this: we're expected to believe that three different people or groups have watched Rangers for a year since Craig Whyte's reign began, and for the three months since he put it into administration.

And it was only last Thursday, when they saw a preferred bidder come forward, that they thought they'd like to have a go, and could find the money. That's three bids. Seriously?

Nice of Rangers fans to be concerned with the plight of fellow Scottish clubs. Maybe everyone else in the SPL should have a whip round for them #toffeecrispwrapper

I am not asking for sympathy. The people in charge of our club got us in this mess.

To be honest I think we will not exist next season. I do not think the SPL should do us favours and would accept having to start again from Div 3

But those laughing on our grave should seriously consider the impact this will have on their own clubs!

Maybe they will all flourish, but there were more people turned up for a demo at the SFA headquarters the other week than went to any game in the SPL the same day.

Joking aside, Rangers will survive whether in current form or as AFC Rangers or something similar. I can also see Rangers starting out in Division 1 and not 3 as well.

And fining a club about to go bust....seriously what is that all about?
