Kitsondinho The best thing is that his top flight record now reads: Relegated, relegated, sacked, sacked!

In fairness to him, one of those relegations was due to West Ham cheating by signing Tevez and Mascherano. They were fined rather than relegated. So he was relegated while managing the team he supported since a boy.
In moments of brief objectivity I find this to give him some level of redemption ....

.... then one of his teams comes and kicks us all over the park and my objectivity takes flight.

Sheffield United were relegated because they couldn't get at least a point from their final match of the season at home to Wigan but instead of blaming his own inept team and tactics Colin looked to blame something totally out of his own control instead.

If my memory serves me correctly, they were somthing like 10 points clear of relegation with 10 games to play. Wasn't just the last game they crapped out in, which makes your point even more valid, it was in their own hands to stay up comfortably and they oxf*rd but let's blame a controversial administative decision instead.

Should never have been appointed in the first place.

He rubs people up the wrong way, but whenever I hear a 'neutral' Warnock on Talksport he always comes across level-headed and pragmatic. Very open this morning about the situation at Palace, his expectations of the role and his sacking.

Fair play to him for doing it though, in many regards.

They've given him no end of abuse this season and many seem to blame him for all that Ashley does behind the scenes. They have some unrealistic expectations and give him little credit for the good job he's done there considering the money he's had to invest in the team (I read somewhere that his net spend over his time there is just a couple of million or something).

As a set of fans it seems they're never quite happy with their lot. Well soon they'll look to get what they want and perhaps a few pigeons will come home to roost as a result.

In contrast Pardew will go to a club with a really supportive and vocal set of fans who will take to him straight away and it will be 'his club' to a certain extent. On top of that I think he'll probably land himself a pay rise as well.

Good post - and rumours they are set to 'get what they want' in Geordie Steve Bruce. And how that's a trade up from Pardew I don't know.

Wasn't Nadkins's name bandied about after Clarkey got the boot from West Brom?

Since been announced that he's not in the running. Hoping Peter Beardsley gets the gig.

Agreed, although I think Bruce is a pretty decent manager and has done quite well at times, but I can't see him doing as well as Pardew has.

The problem Bruce would have is that, despite being a Geordie, he's a former Sunderland manager and that will always be something they hold against him if things don't go quite according to plan.

To be fair a lot were upset that Hughton had got them promoted and then was sacked to bring Pardew in. The regime of Ashley and Joe Kinnear hasn't helped his cause.

Fair play to AP, bunch of f*cking clowns posing as fans up there. Maybe they'll have their beloved Alan "legend" Shearer back as manager. "Oh Alan yo soo luvely like", or maybe they'll dream of Kevin Keegan for a third stint. Who the hell would want to manage up there?
