Always the same isn't it, they think they can do it because the player/manager can't do anything back and when they do they instantly shit their pants. Same as the fans who spend 90mins hurling abuse and then get all precious about it if a players gestures or says something back.
If a member of the public enters the field of play illegally then as long as the players/managers defend themselves appropriately they should be exempt from prosecution/FA action. As far as I can tell, the Everton supporter was in Viera's personal space for at least 20 seconds and Viera felt threatened enough to defend his space with proportional force.
We saw the other day Ollie McBurnie overstep the mark by stamping on a Forest supporter who was already on the floor, this is the sort of thing the FA should be looking into, not Viera.
The Everton supporter is on screen breaking the law, he is in the wrong here.
