For accuracy I would like to clarify that South Sudan became a member last year and I for one look forward to their efforts in qualification for Russia.

So it seems we could end up in Pot2

England are in an unseeded pot of European countries but could still be moved ahead of Friday's draw for the 2014 Fifa World Cup. But before the draw, one of those teams will be moved to Pot 2, which has seven African and South American sides.

No more than two European teams, or one from South America, can be drawn in the same group for next year's competition.

If England are moved to Pot 2, they would be drawn against one of the seeded South American teams, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia or Uruguay. Should they remain in Pot 4, they could be drawn against any of the top eight seeds from Pot 1.

FIFA fiddling the draws again. Really and truly the worst ranked European team should be in pot 2 but no instead there has to be a draw to decide a draw (no doubt it has it's own sponsor and ceremony as well).

Overall what is the point of a world ranking system when they don't actually use it to decide who is in the pots, this stupid idea of you can't have more than one team or two teams from one continent or another is just daft.

If England get lumbered with pot 2 they could find themselves in a group with Brazil, Italy and USA
