Andy Townend describing Rooney's goal as a great finish. A tap in from a few yards.

Luton result is the result of the day, non-league over Prem away.

36 of Man Utd's last 38 FA cup games have been shown on tv. Not bad since they havn't even won it for 8 years.

But they aren't a real club so it doesn't count. Fantastic result for Bucks and Rends at Luton. 2 people I wish were still at Plainmoor to be honest.

January 2005 away to Exeter. The last time a United game wasn't televised live. FFS, even the United 'fans' in my local couldn't be arsed to watch

As the cup is unfortunately on ITV now, It is likely an advertising thing re Man U being on live all the time as they have fans everywhere so they prob get better advertising revenues.

ESPN had the ManU game, ITV had the other Manchester club. I note though that no interest has been shown in the games selected this weekend other than in the usual big clubs. Expecting the same in Round 5.

Is it a problem with highlights programmes in general, though? What did you expect. Carlisle was OK, and didn't sit on the fence over the two-footed tackle like they do on Sky, Strachan seemed coherent about teams having the drive to win things and the anchor wasn't Linecunt.
