I don't think Hunt gave up on us the way Beckford has.

Hunt lost his head.

Very different situtation imo.

Beckford doesn't care.

Whereas Beckford's frustration is understandable - he is out of contract in the summer, Shunt's was anything but inexcusable.

Dis'greed - you can have Huddersfield instead.

already been to the galpharm with 'ding.

Some of us have already been to Elland Road with 'ding more than once - and on a personal note, it'll never trump the LC win in Nov 97:

Tuesday am train from Southampton to Manchester to meet a mate, on the booze from midday, train to Leeds, few more pints at the station, cab to the ground with some cans (which we stashed in a bush for the way back). Won 3-2, beers were still there after the game, train back to Manchester (having almost been thrown out of LOLeeds station for over-exuberance), night club in Manchester and then the 5am train back to So'ton for an afternoon lab practical.

Happy days!
Yeah but did you go chicken oriental when Lloyd Owusu score a back heeled consolation goal on a cold February afternoon? 8)

Pretty sure most people stopped h8ing Leeds and just started LOLing at them when the summit of their ambitions became 2nd place in the 3rd tier of English football and the occasional cup run.

Does anyone have a spare tin of Ronseal? I've a load of Leeds fans appearing out of the woodwork. Congratulations on promotion to a division including powerhouses 'Ding, QPR, Barnsley & Scunthorpe. YOU ARE MASSIVE. It's like John Darwins gone back out in his canoe and re-appeared with a load of celebrating northerners (from Reading) after 7yrs. We must catch up soon. Much love.

The alternatives being Milwall/Charlton etc....Leeds was not my favoured choice

However, glad for their #22 Andy Hughes who had a good day....................and (for experience) our young loanee GK Andersen got play in front of a 38+k cauldron

Just got back to 'Ding after watching the last ever league game at Saltergate and can confirm, after the train trip home, that Leeds fans are the biggest bunch of knuckle draggers going. Absolutley no need for the crap they dished out to the Bristol Rovers fans on the way 'darn sarf'

Would go along with that normally but the Rovers fans on the receiving end this time where mainly middle age blokes and women doing nothing more than travelling home after watching their team.
