Im not rounding it down at all. My posts were comparing us to Arsenal and over the past few years we have won more silverware than they have. I would rather Liverpool were winning league titles but a i am a realist and i realise this isnt going to happen. If we continue picking up a trophy every couple of years or so ill be content.

Agreed. Id rather we won the league but i dont think it will happen any time soon so next best thing is cup competitions. we tend to do ok in them but obviously not this season.

I watched the game v Villa today on French tv, Actually wanted Arsenal to win, obviously. Very frustr8ing. Villa played very well. I won't get into the Wilshere deb8. But their most ineffective player by a mile was Arteta. Wtf has happened to him? Defence looked good, best player overall was Giroud, plus Cazorla the goalscorer.

Was the point I was trying to make. You're technically correct that it was after the FA Cup final but given that it's the same season I hardly think it counts. You won't see people sitting there saying 'it's been 15 months since Liverpool won a trophy' because the cup win last year was in February. Instead they'll just say it's been X seasons.
