New San Siro revealed, shared again by Milan and Inter. Going to be built next to the original stadium, nice touch to keep one of the original iconic San Siro cylindrical staircases in the park.

Sure I'm in the minority, but actually think this would be a really good idea.

This is taking an age to get over the line but work will commence over the next few month. Six houses needed to be purchased and 12 months notice given plus ownership of land owned by Sainsburys.

Luton Town seem to have taken inspiration from Wycombe for their new ground, which sounds like it's moved a step closer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-b ... s-59769263

23,000 cap.

Went to watch Largs Thistle on Saturday. Lovely little ground - no floodlights so 1.30pm kick-off.

(not my pic)

"According to The Telegraph, United have received three proposals to redevelop Old Trafford, one of which includes knocking down the 112-year-old stadium. That would allow United to build a new stadium that would rival Wembley, which can hold up to 90,000 fans."

A bit like Trigger's broom. Several new handles, and new heads, but still the same broom.

The Glazier's preferred option appears to be building a new ground next door to Old Trafford, similarly to Spurs, and then build a smaller stadium on top of Old Trafford for the youth teams; but fans are pushing for a new South Stand, and improving OT as Liverpool have done with Anfield.

some of those look ok.

Green would do that sort of trip I reckon, although, how much is a pint? And the risk is there might only be fizzy Carlsberg-style lager.

If it is anything like Iceland, about £7/£8 - although the beer in Iceland was very nice. Went to a microbrewery in Egilsstaðir - ASKUR TAPROOM, mostly craft IPAs but not overly hoppy.

Went to Cathkin Park last week - home of Third Lanark, who folded in 1967 due to gross financial mismanagement and fraud by their owners.

An eerie place ...

Am I the only person who read this as building an academy pitch on the roof of the new stadium?

I guess you mean copying the setup at Citeh.

Got to be honest, for all its fancy windows and cladding, Old Trafford is a bit of a shithole thats showing its age. The same could have been said of Anfield pre redevelopment.
