I'm sure Juventus would be disappointed to miss out on a year of Conference League football.

Winston Biscuit Alaves score a 129th minute winner in the Segunda play off final :o

A draw would have seen Levante go up

Levante, who missed out on promotion to La Liga by way of the latest of all late goals conceded^, now revealed to owe €35M, and if they can't pay it they will be relegated down to the 3rd tier.

If they do get relegated then Ponferradina, who took up the final relegation spot in Segunda, will not go down. Ponferradina only jumped up to the final relegation spot on the last day as Malaga conceded an injury time goal in their game, and so dropped below them.

La Liga opening weekend fixture of Getafe Vs Barcelona is to be played behind closed doors, as a punishment for Getafe fans behaviour in the Segunda play off semi final in the 2016/17 season

Sochaux owners have failed to put up the €10M needed to keep the club in Ligue 2.

French football authorities expected to tell the club this week that they are therefore relegated, and also ask for a financial plan to show they can make it through a season in the 3rd tier. French media suggesting the club won't be able to do that. If that is the case then they will be denied any place in the French football pyramid, will be declared bankrupt and will cease to exist.

0-4 (boooooo)

Don't think all away wins has ever happened before in any league I can remember or think of, let alone 7 same scores

Got some work to do to make it happen though

When you book the tickets you’ll be asked for your residency card or passport details

Made me    the first time
No pies, not even curry ones
According to the locals the drinks are good, but since I don’t drink I can’t vouch for them

Understanding the chants is a little tricky at first, too
Best not to join in now that I know what they mean

Did you just buy tickets at the ground when you arrived?

Are people drinking at the ground when the match was on?

No, bought them in advance and I didn’t pay any attention as to whether you COULD buy on the day.
Didn’t see any drinking during the game but there sure was some serious imbibing beforehand

listened to some journo's on a European football podcast as I walked to work this morning. Their vote for the 'most under the radar' good transfers this summer were Davide Frattesi joining Inter Milan from Sassuolo and Javier Galan joining Atletico Madrid from Celta Vigo

and they mentioned as a separate thing to keep an eye on is the 'fire-sale' they said is going on at Ajax. Apparently quite a number of players have left and there are still more expected out the door.
