buzzby Twitter was created 7 years ago today, which means no Arsenal fan has ever tweeted about winning a trophy.

What if one of them tweets "We won the league in 1989 with basically the last kick of the game".......

Don't quite get all the lolzing at Arsenal for not winning stuff and keeping a count of how many years it has been since they won a trophy.

They don't spend as much as the top 2 or 3 clubs on transfers & wages yet still manage to get into the CL each year. For this the manager gets rewarded with new contracts and high wages which suggests he may well be hitting the owners expectations.

If another club spent that money, tried to bring through a lot of youngsters and tried to play an attractive style of football they would probably get praised for it.

So with this latest 4th place, does that mean Arsenal have now paid off their debts? So from here on in they can spend spend spend?

Gary Neville, in a bit of an Arsenal love-in ("exactly how a club should be run") suggests they definitely will.

Arsenal are a great team. So are Spurs to be honest, both of them raped us more than once this season.

Spurs without Bale would have finished 7th.

One more season Gareth?

How many goals did his replacement score in your scenario?

They should break the bank and sign Rooney, he's the sort of player that could kickstart a title challange in a year where United, City and Chelsea will all have new managers.

If Lukaku is still 3rd choice at Chelsea next season, they could do worse than put a bid in for him. No idea if Chelsea would sell (I'd doubt it) but he could be exactly the sort of striker Arsenal would thrive off of.

I can't see any scenario where Arsenal would pay Rooney's wages. Isn't he on something ridiculous like £250k a week? 'greed on the Lukaku shout, he would be an excellent signing.

I'd be very surprised if Benteke isn't on the radar of anyone looking at being top 6 next season.

Are you seriously suggesting that Spurs have 2 Gareth Bales with the same abilities?

It's difficult to find a more effective player in the Prem that's scored as many last minute or decisive winners. Just off the top of my head - wins again Southampton , West Ham, Sunderland and Norwich (to draw) all scored from the 86th minute onwards. And they weren't tap in's too.

I'm prepared to put my neck out and say they don't have anyone that could produce similar outcomes.
