...apols - took a while to put this together - mainly due to the FA Vase results being spread around a bit - didn't trust the FA site to have got the scores right, so hope the official individual league sources I got them from are accurate.....
..couldn't do it earlier this eve - as I was out watching the 'Moles' retake top spot with a good battling 2-1 win over
Thatcham in the Hellenic Premier.

- Got here – eventually: M4 beyond jn 7/A404(M) nr Handy X and M25 jn 16-18 were completely phcucked, so in spite of allowing for 45’ extra travelling time we still arr 15’ late. Wasn't a great game either - constant drizzle didn't help - ET not particularly welcoming, as the game was pretty bereft of real excitement. Glad to get a new ground in and the way the M'ways were behaving glad to get one in at all!102 Whitton United 0-4 Biggleswade United

Highmoor Ibis- Was at this – lovely warm sunny afternoon up in the Chilterns – the ground is very picturesque but sadly football not a great draw up here. Several hundreds more than at the match flocking into the town for its Heritage Day – att here probably touched 70 odd and a significant number of these being of the Anorak fraternity. No hot food and as expected only the bare minimum number of programmes produced – tbf H/I were unlikely to travel in great numbers either. Highmoor were their efficient functional norm and it didn’t make for a great spectacle, as the hosts are a desperately limited side from two steps below.
Marcus himself entered the fray late on to help keep the ball upfield and prevent any chance of an upset - he ‘ran’ around as best he could in hot conditions. H/I all worked hard enough to preserve a lead they grabbed just before H/T. The game was made safe late on as Amersham tired and had too few covering defenders to keep out a quick break – Marcus sensibly leaving a through ball for a faster attacker to run onto from an onside position.136

Hungerford Town 3-3 Gosport Borough –
BBC site couldn’t make up its mind about this one yesterday PM – Crusaders certainly trailed 0-2 in the 1st half but levelled only for Warren Bentley to nudge ‘port ahead from the spot with 20’ left. At one point the Beeb had the FT score as 3-2 Home win – in fact Hungerford equalised in the last minute to salvage a point. They are down in the west country again this midweek – bit nearer than Truro though at W-S-M.Maidenhead United 1-1 St Albans City -

- in tonight's (Monday) game in this division Windsor slumped to a 0-2 defeat at new boys Abbey Rangers - who play up at Addlestone Moor very close to jn 11 of the M25. They stay in 3rd with 15 points from 9 games. All the teams around them are in action this week, all have at least 2 games in hand - Westfield in 2nd place just above them have only played 5 games winning them all.CCL1

Fleet Spurs –
can’t begin to relay the scoring sequence here – too dizzying but an apt comment indeed on Spurs’ own website saying the game was ‘thrilling’ but more goals were as the result of ‘poor defence than outstanding attacking play’.
