Jude Bellingham is the third player to be involved in four goals in his first two La Liga games in the 21st century after Wesley Sneijder (August 2007) and Mounir El Hamdaoui (September 2013).

Scored 2 and assisted 1 in a 3-1 victory away at Almeria.

Come on man, that's the sort of shit Ronaldo and Messi fanboys come up with to "prove" he's the best player in the world.

Just saw it on Reddit and thought I'd post it. Nothing deeper than that.

To be fair, it's just a symptom of modern football reportage, and it's continued attempt to eat itself, implying some inflated sense of importance to everything.

E.g. Did you know Pavel Pogrebnyak holds the Premier League record for the fastest to 5 goals?

This is great. Malaga fans frustrated at the lack of incoming players this summer have taken to greeting random people at the airport as if they have just signed for the club. :D

Smart, I'll invest in a Malaga top and book my flight to Malaga....

in January Winston Biscuit Was listening to something this morning where Club Brugge attacking midfielder Charles De Ketelaere was being massively hyped. He is expected to win the award this week for the best player in Belgium and they were saying pretty much anyone who is anyone is watching him

Only just seen that he joined AC Milan this summer

Started his first match for Milan last week against Bologna and was named man of the match after a spectacular performance.

Some excitement in Italy that one of future world stars is in their league

Now moved to Atalanta after a difficult year at AC Milan. Genuinely quite excited to see what he can do in Serie A this season.

Can't be any use or either City or Chelsea would have signed him already.

Couple of stats from reddit, just for FDTW.

Jude Bellingham is the first player to score 4 goals in his first 3 matches for Real Madrid since Cristiano Ronaldo in 09/10.

Jude Bellingham has score 4 goals in 3 La Liga games. The same amount as Eden Hazard in 4 seasons.

Fiorentina are one of my Winstons Ones To Watch this season. Could see them rattling a few of the usual big name teams in Serie A and maybe even pushing for top 4

Lyon in a mess. Financial restrictions put on them for wages whereby the current wage bill is now the max they can offer, so any new deal offered or signing made effectively needs someone to leave.........French FA angry at them for already finding their way around it by bringing in someone from Southampton on loan, paying a loan fee negotiated to a size that means Southampton will use it to cover 100% of the wages

If they have to sell then I hope Rayak Cherki moved to the PL

Went to a Spanish Segunda match last night. Loved it, great experience.

Cartagena #35 looked very handy. tricky little attacking midfielder trying to create something for the lump upfront who was pretty useless. MOTM for me was Levante #20. Defensive midfielder who looked like he hardly had to try when shielding the ball and carrying it forward.

Was surprised at how much the game was allowed to flow and some tough tackles were going in.

Looks very well attended.

What were the ticket prices?

€25 a ticket for anywhere in the ground aside from a few fancy €30 tickets

Stadium holds around 15,000. Just read that the official attendance was 7200 which is nonsementz (first trial of this new word, let me know if it works) as the stadium was almost full. No idea where they get that number from but its lolz. Away section looked sold out too, which impressed me for a Friday night 2nd tier game in a country that doesn't have a strong away fan culture

I also liked their no nonsense approach to facilities. Drinks were from a man with a van in the car park who was offering cans of chilled Amstel for €1, bottles of water for €1, glass of wine for €1 or a shot of your choice for €1. And some dildo mayonnaise, obv.
