I voted yes. I do rate HRK, it's just his talent is writing cheques his attitude and application can't cash.

Lenny The Tramp Download, Syed had a bit of a pop at one of his old games teachers at Maiden Erlegh in yesterday's Times article. Apparently was one those 'medals for everyone who takes part' advocates. Guess the table tennis thing was nothing to do with school.

Incorrect, it was largely down to Aldryngton, and specifically Peter Charters, rather than Maiden Erlegh. It just so happens that Aldryngton pupils nearly always go to Maiden Erlegh too.

I can take a guess at who Syed was referring to (I don't read The Times), and I found him to be both sensitive to the needs of disabled students and very encouraging to the most able.

On topic, I rate HRK, but I think he's surplus to requirements. He's an ordinary Championship winger who is suddenly competing with Vydra, Hurtado and John as well as McCleary and an in-form Blackman.

When he plays he does seem rather good at pointing and being a long way from the opposition players when they have the ball.
He then runs around a lot trying to catch them , without achieving much, but this probably helps his stats when the sports scientists check their figures

He reminds me in many respects of Tony Rougier, albeit without the mesmerising (sometimes) stepovers.
When Rougier played he was incredibly frustrating to watch, and then suddenly, almost defying physics, he'd have skinned half a defence and set up a goal.

Hal is similar, ish. He trots around doing not a lot, winning some tackles, losing some tackles, winning the ball, losing it again, and then has a passage of a minute or so where he looks like our answer to Alan Shearer.

So yeah, it must come down to application, because the talent is clearly there.

He reminds me more and more of Harper towards the end of his RFC career. Lots and lots of pointing, telling others where to go and what to do.

Big difference was that Harper more often than not put a real shift in so had time to point - HRK doesn't

He reminds me of a player that isn't very good.

He's negative about the people who are negative, so he's just as bad, if not worse.

Since bumping this thread and adding a poll HRK put in an excellent performance against Burnley.

Just saying.

Thanks... good read.

(Thought he did well to set up Williams for the first goal last Saturday... hope it goes well for him tonight)

but I know that my best position is as a striker and I know that’s where I’m most effective

It really isn't though. The fact that he hasn't scored for Wales since 2014 against, often against weak opposition, would suggest that to me. Never looks convincing up front. For me he's definitely best as a wide forward, slightly more central than out and out winger, but still out on the left.

As eluded to earlier though he's stepped up his game with the added competition and good for him, and us, but would I want him anywhere near the lone striker role? Abso-fuking-lutely not. Would rather see Liburd get a chance.

A couple of years ago, when his contract was up for grabs he was touting himself as the best midfielder that RFC had in the Prem (based on the number of goals he scored - most of which were late in the game when he came on and we were being hammered.)

why can't he just get on with the feckin game and stop bigging himself up?

And all the bollocks about rejecting England. Come one - the reason you chose Wales is because you stood a much better chance of getting a game. Does he really think he might be in the England team now? deluded - and that's his problem.

Next year he claim his best position is goalie.

PS after this post he'll probably score a hat full tonight!
