winchester_royal Tbf they could/should have won that game quite easily based on the relative performances. Those writing off Arsenal on the back of this one game are worse than the bandwagon jumperoners.

Not sure where you get your "quite easily" from.
Particularly in the first half Dortmund dictated the game and in the whole course of the game Arsenal created hardly any more chances than their opponents.
Interesting,as Sandman said earlier, Ozil didn't particularly impress against a German side and this was the case for both him and Khedira for Real Madrid over the past couple of years when facing German opposition.
I thought Wilshere once again by giving the ball away so much showed that he is still not ready to be the great white hope (Jason Roberts, this is a long-standing expression with no anti-black connotations) for the English national team.
Cazola looked much more the real deal when he replaced him.

NewCorkSeth I like Arsenal. There I said it!!!!
On a side note I just noticed the other day that the manager in the Prem with the second longest standing time at current job is Monsieur Alain Pardeu.. Not much job security at the top.. or the bottom.. or the middle..

St. Brynjar I like Arsenal because I like the way they do things properly, stability and good football combined. I like and respect Wenger a lot, and I like a lot of their players. Much more likeable than any of the other big teams.

This. It's the model I would like the premier league to follow, it's not just the style of football.

Absolutely. Hard not to respect Utd as well for such incredible long term success. And they generally play decent football too, if in a different style to Arsenal. City are still a bit comedy so difficult to find them too offensive.

Most of the top clubs can be respected. Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, united, Everton all deserve it for various reasons. agree City are still a bit nouveau and really haven't won enough for what they have spent but I do respect their fans who had many, many years of pain...

Nameless Seems some of you need to rethink your ideas !
Respecting a club isn't just about what they did last weekend or last season. Liverpool are a pretty special club with a pretty unique history. Just because you weren't around in the days of Shankley, Paisley, Fagin and can't be bothered to find out that doesn't take away from an amazing period in football. The Kop was also a pretty special place for many years.
The Suarez incident was a pretty sorry time but doesn't in anyway detract from what went before.
Sky has a lot to answer for.
And Ian, check out the difference between a club and a team.....
