Ian Royal i think Milner's just been shot from the stands.

That should narrow it down to 50000 or so suspects.

That 'effort' on goal has done nothing to convince me Welbeck is an international class striker.

And that decision has done nothing to convince me that the guy in yellow is an actual referee, and not an imposter. Disgraceful decision, he was right in front of it.

Not seen a replay yet, but that looked a stone-waller.

Edit: well now he's got one right.

Come on Fwank.

Harsh first yellow, but already on a booking, ref had no choice there.

All those soft yellows earlier on pay for england.

Not been a dirty game, ridiculous there's been so many cards

commos now saying ref got the first pen call spot on.

Since when has elbowing someone in the face and drawing blood when going up for a header not been a yellow card?

Quite enjoyed this second half. England chasing a game has more drama than them just steamrolling weak opponents.

Another soft yellow, that one wasn't even a foul

Not as blatant a foul as it looked in real time, but there was some contact. Seen them given, but yes, not the bad decision I thought it was.

Since when does 'amount of blood' determine yellow cards? All players lead with their arms, it was a collision, no more than that. The Ukrainian has his arms up too.

He proper smacked him in the face. It was dangerous. Absolutely a yellow every time. The blood is the illustration of how dangerous it was.

really poor, poor game. Ref was a joke though handing out cards like confetti.
And Cleverly? I really hope that he's not expected to lead England on to anything. Aside from his ridiculous attempts on goal his passing and link up play was woeful.

U would think for over a decade of being a world class footballer and leader off and on the pitch and the amount of millions he makes, stephen gerrard could be able to avoid such a stupid sending off... WOW!

View from the South:-
Ox and Cleverley both played like little boys lost and with no sense of calm.
Lampard and Milner just don't do enough.
Ref got most things right.
England players -keep your f*****g arms down.
ITV-Townsend with his lucky, lucky, lucky and he then pulls Tyldesley up for wrongly calling something lucky!!
Tyldesley within a space of 2 minutes:-
"Definite penalty" followed by "great save by Hart"-wrong on both counts.
Southgate in his post-match comments "The two Russian wingers"
How amateurish they are and to cap it all ITV have got next week's mouth-watering game of Man City v Real Madrid.

First time in 90 or so internationals isn't so bad is it?
The one player making things happen tonight and the classiest of our players by a distance.

Not really m8, his elbow caught his cheek on the way down, hardly a Ben Thatcher-esque incident was it?
