Friday's Legacy sorry? the full removal of a shirt - yes, but to simply pull it up to show a t-shirt underneath i haven't seen that before sunday's match.

so are you not allowed to reveal a shirt underneath any more? strikers reaching a marker for example. seems a strange decision if so. i see nothing wrong with the above.

The rule contravened is the pulling of a shirt OVER the head - lifting a shirt up to expose a T-shirt or bare torso incurs no booking, but raising the shirt over the head is deemed a cautionable offence.

And also - Law 4:

Decisions of the International F.A. Board

Players must not reveal undergarments showing slogans or advertising. The basic compulsory equipment must not have any political, religious or personal statements. A player removing his jersey or shirt to reveal slogans or advertising will be
sanctioned by the competition organiser.

Anyone heard the one in which Balotelli applied for a checkout position at tescos? He apparently turned up to buy his food in the place he gets parking tickets and saw a kid under a lot of stress with a queue of about 4/5 people at the checkout...he demanded the checkout leader open another till and asked for an application form so he could help with future queues

Makes me proud of my "crazy" Italian heritage...

He just ain't right...in a good way. I really have no desire to follow the fortunes of Manchester City but damn, if this doesn't give me a reason. More entertainment value than even the Joey Barton tweets.

i'm sure Ballotelli is harmless, he just doesn't think. It's always good to open the paper on the train in the morning an see another amusing story about him.

Looks like he has sorted his attitude on the pitch as well.

LOL at the story this morning that his mu made him go to John Lewis for an ironing board and an iro for the cleaner and coming back with a lorry full with

A large trampoline
2 vespas
skaletric

City have more than enough quality without having to gamble on this liability. They should get rid.

Mario Balotelli was left asking "Why always me?" yet again when he bought a brand new Maserati - and had it seized by police just 24 hours later.

The Sun reports that the Manchester City star picked up his new the 187mph £100,000 Italian supercar on Monday, but was pulled over by police on Tuesday on suspicion of speeding.

Apparently the striker's car was then promptly confiscated by the cops, who thought it had not been legally registered.

The 21-year-old eventually managed to prove his car's innocence by producing the appropriate paperwork, and he was allowed to get back on the road.

It's not the first time that Balotelli has had trouble with his flash cars: his previous Maserati was reportedly impounded 27 times for non-payment of parking tickets, damaged by thugs wielding crowbars, and then apparently written off when team-mates left a bag full of rotting fish in it for several weeks as part of a tit-for-tat prank war at Eastlands.

After that, he resorted to two wheels instead and bought a brand new motorbike - only to be immediately banned from riding it.
