Winston Biscuit Lampard's record in his last 18 competitive games as a manager:

Lost 2-1
Lost 2-0
Lost 1-0
Lost 2-0
Lost 2-1
Lost 3-1
Lost 4-1

Drew 1-1
Lost 2-1
Lost 3-0
Lost 4-1
Lost 2-0

Drew 0-0
Won 3-0
Lost 1-0
Lost 2-0
Lost 2-1
Lost 2-0

why is there no decent yellow I can use? if I select yellow the text becomes unreadable!

luckily in this case the red works fine

So does blue

NathStPaul What you have to consider for managers at Chelsea is they will likely get a 5 year contract. Guarantees them a huge payout should they be sacked early. It is pretty much a no lose scenario for Poch imo. They can't get any lower than they are and no doubt results will improve so he will look good or even if it doesn't he gets millions of pounds when he is sacked. Pretty much Win/win.

Lean towards this as well.

If he gets sacked after 6 months, for any future jobs he can always just say "well look at them, they're a oxf*rd basket case, wasn't my fault the owner doesn't know what he is doing"

I'd never read of a caretaker boss being sacked before, until Stellini was shown the door by Spurs. Kind of hoping that the Pochettino negotiations hit a bump just to see if we can get a second such sacking in weeks.

Agreed. Getting sacked by Chelsea isn't a career killer unless of course, you're a serial fcuk up like Frank Lampard, and even then, Chelsea's just a postscript.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility.

If Lampard still wants a career in management after his current tribulations at Chelsea he is going to have to drop a level or 2 and try to develop some credibility.

I don't know where he lives but would assume it is probably local-ish.

(Not saying I want him here BTW.)

His ego would never allow him to be the manager of a League 1 side.

Fair chance he ends up in the MLS or Saudi league imo. Lower standard but good money.

Lampard, much like Gerrard, seem to really rely on their backroom staff. No doubt it's true with a lot of managers, but once Michael Beale left Villa to take the QPR job, Aston Villa and Gerrard really seemed to go backwards. Lampard ditched Jody Morris after their spells together at Derby and Chelsea, and took Joe Edwards, Paul Clement, Ashley Cole and Chris Jones to Everton and now Chelsea. Given the supposed status of those four coaches, it's slightly bizarre Frank's only won 1 out of his last 19 games.

That’ll be why our team looked so unfit and disinterested.

3 down at H-T.

You gotta feel for fat Frank. Your team cannot buy a win and you have to turn to Raheem Sterling and Aubameyang (who has the heart of a pea).

Absolute shambles.

Aubameyang had 9 touches before being taken off at ht. Four of those were from kick offs.

Nope. I think he put less effort in than Aubameyang last night. Second half he spent most the time sat down looking like he just couldn't be arsed, hardly motivating for his team.

He's totally out of his depth and he knows it. Either he gets a role where he can learn how to be a manager with some decent guidance or he forgets it. Clearly he thought being one of England's failed "Golden Generation" was all he needed. Clearly not.

Sterling showing that he needs good players around him (Liverpool, City and to some extent England) to be effective-what a surprise.
His passing and awareness last night were atrocious.
