Wales v England

Bar the usual bores who always say "not gonna watch it tbf" etc - what does everyone think the line up will be and your prediction?

With Bale out, I foresee a dull but comfortable win for England.

Prediction: 2-0 England

Not going watch it as I'll be at the races at Newbury :P

England will have to play really shit to win 2-0, something they're more than capable of.

Hart

Johnson
Terry (c)
Dawson
Cole

Lennon
Wilshere
Barry
Milner

Rooney
Carroll

I can see Wales doing us with this ala NIreland but Bale being out is a big plus, especially if its HRK that plays on left

Early goal for England and a dull 3-0 win or tetchy and frustrating game and a 1-1 draw.

Brilliantly managed to cover all the bases there!

I reckon it'll be tight; 1-0 England, JT with the goal if he plays. No idea about the line-up as I don't know who's fit, but I'll give it a go.

I'm liking the combo of Wilshere & Parker in the middle. Wilshere isn't a holding midfielder so playing him alongside Lampard would be no different to the Gerrard/Lampard problem but having Parker there would free him up to (hopefully) work his magic. I really dont "get" Gareth Barry so fingers crossed he doesn't start.

Gareth Barry was good a couple of years ago but seems ot have lost several yards of pace; not essential in that role but a bit glaring if you did have it once.

Also like the look of Parker & Wilshire

Bent starting up front according to the Times

Our Hal gets a page in the Sun today, as Bale's likely replacement.

ah yes with the catchy headline " we are up the creek.....but we have a Kanu"

I will probably watch this like I always do and then wonder how I could be so careless with 90 minutes of my life

Agreed TBM. I think Capello is trying to mould Wilshere into a deep lying playmaker (Pirlo/Alonso type of thing) so he does need someone to kick people next to him and I'd pick Parker over Barry every day of the week.

Agreed - I've only included Barry on the assumption that Capello sitcks with him. I can't see him starting Parker and Wilshere. As much as I'd like to see it, I suspect he sees them as being too inexperienced a pairing

Wilshere/Huddlestone is the way to go.

Although I know Huddlestone isn't playing.

Sky plussing it and will watch it in fast forward in the evening.

If he plays Parker + Wilshere together in the centre then I applaud him for actually trying something different and not going with Frank the Tank and Grumpy Steve.
